Band

Liam King (Button Accordion)

Brought up on the Island of Inishbofin, Co. Galway, Liam was surrounded by some of the best traditional musicians the country has to offer from a very early age. Taught by his father Paddy Joe King (a member of the Inishbofin Ceili Band), Liam has become an accomplished accordion player with a rhythmic style characteristic of the region.

Lorcán Brady (Fiddle, Uilleann Pipes)

The youngest of seven fiddle players, Lorcán grew up in a very musical household amid the drumlins of County Cavan. Under the tutelage of his parents, Lorcán began sourcing and learning rare tunes on the fiddle. He took up the Uilleann Pipes in later years and has developed an outstanding dexterity in this complex instrument.

Paul Mc Clure (Bodhrán)

Originally from Buncrana, Co.Donegal, Paul plays Bodhrán and Piano Accordion. Having received the coveted title of "All-Ireland Bodhran Champion", Paul has a unique understanding of the subtleties of tunes, which can be attributed to playing piano accordion. A recent addition to the band, Paul's insight and vision have helped reshape the sound the group has today.

James Frawley (Concertina)

Coming from Galway city, James picked up the Concertina from his grandfather Paddy Frawley from Kilrush, Co Clare and was taught by Noel Hill in later years. James has developed a unique style and command for the instrument, which reflects his passion and interest in fiddle and pipe music.

Joe Junker (Guitar, Vocals)

Joe was raised in Ballymore Eustace, County Kildare. From a young age Joe developed an impressive virtuosity on the guitar. His musical interests include the American blues, contemporary Jazz and of course traditional Irish music. Joe is not only a proficient accompanist but also a powerful vocalist and accomplished songwriter.
